HIJRAH 1448 AH: SHABA URGES MUSLIMS TO EMBRACE THE VALUES OF SACRIFICE, FAITH, AND UNITY

Honourable Adeshina Musibau Shaba, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate for Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, has congratulated Muslims across Egbeda, Ona Ara, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448 AH.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Shaba described the commencement of the new Islamic year as a period of reflection, spiritual renewal, and rededication to the values exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He noted that the historic migration (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah symbolizes faith, perseverance, sacrifice, unity, and unwavering trust in Allah.

The ADC chieftain urged Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for peace, security, and sustainable development in Nigeria. According to him, the challenges facing the nation require collective efforts, sincere leadership, and divine intervention to overcome.

"Hijrah reminds us that every challenge presents an opportunity for a new beginning. As we celebrate the year 1448 AH, I encourage all Muslims and Nigerians to embrace peace, love, tolerance, and unity in our pursuit of a better society," he stated.

Hon. Shaba further called on residents of Egbeda and Ona Ara Federal Constituency to remain hopeful and committed to the progress of their communities, stressing that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of harmony and cooperation.

He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the nation lasting peace, economic prosperity, and protection from all forms of insecurity while blessing every family with good health, happiness, and abundant success in the new Islamic year.
