HON. ISMAEEL SODIQ OPEYEMI (ELEGE) EXPRESSES SOLIDARITY WITH FAMILY OF FORMER MINISTER OF POWER OVER KIDNAPPING INCIDENT
STANDING IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE FAMILY OF THE FORMER MINISTER OF POWER
It is with a heavy heart that I received the heartbreaking news of the kidnapping involving members of the family of the former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu. This distressing incident has brought pain not only to the immediate family but also to all Nigerians who value the sanctity of life and the security of our communities.
At this difficult moment, I extend my deepest sympathies and unwavering solidarity to the family. I can only imagine the anxiety, uncertainty, and emotional burden they are enduring. My thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate this challenging period.
I join fellow Nigerians in earnestly appealing to the relevant security agencies to spare no effort in ensuring the safe and swift rescue of those in captivity. Every moment matters, and it is our collective hope that the victims are returned unharmed to their loved ones.
This unfortunate incident serves as a reminder of the urgent need to strengthen security measures and protect citizens from the growing threat of criminal activities across our nation. No family should have to endure such anguish.
As we continue to pray for a positive outcome, may Almighty God watch over the captives, protect them from harm, and grant their family the courage and strength to remain hopeful during this trying period.
Our thoughts remain with the family, and we look forward to the joyful moment when they are reunited with their loved ones in peace and safety.
