JUBRIL DOTUN SANUSI MOURNS IN-LAW, DR. MARGRET YORHOMEH

JUBRIL DOTUN SANUSI MOURNS IN-LAW, DR. MARGRET YORHOMEH

Okanlomo Oódua, Gbonka Olubadan, Mourns with the Yorhomeh Family, Sanusi Dynasty and Ilaji Family.

I received with profound sadness the news of the passing of my beloved in-law, Dr. Margret Yorhomeh, who departed this life on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 64.

Her passing is a deeply painful loss to me personally, and to the entire Sanusi Dynasty and Ilaji Family.

We have not merely lost an in-law; we have lost a mother, a sister, a friend and a remarkable woman whose presence brought warmth, love, dignity and unity to our family.

Dr. Margret’s relationship with the Sanusi Dynasty and the Ilaji Family went far beyond the bond created by marriage. She became family in the truest sense of the word—cherished, respected and warmly embraced by all.

She was a woman of dignity, wisdom, compassion, warmth and remarkable strength. Her life was a testament to motherhood, kindness and service to those around her. She touched lives in ways that will continue to be remembered long after her departure.

Though she has left us physically, the values she upheld, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of her children, family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

To Martins, Richard and Favour, I want you to know that you are not alone in this difficult moment. We mourn with you, grieve with you and stand firmly beside you as one family. The love, sacrifices, teachings and values of your mother will forever remain a part of your lives and will continue to guide you.

Death reminds us of the fragility of life, but even in our grief, we remain grateful to Almighty God for the gift of Dr. Margret’s life, for the family she nurtured, the children she raised and the love and kindness she generously shared.

I pray that Almighty God will forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest and receive her soul into His everlasting embrace.
I equally pray for divine strength, comfort and fortitude for Martins, Richard and Favour, the entire Yorhomeh Family, the Sanusi Dynasty and the Ilaji Family as we navigate this painful period of bereavement.

Mama, your journey on earth may have come to an end, but the love you planted in the hearts of your children and family will never die.

You came into our family as an in-law, but you became family in every sense of the word. Your presence enriched our lives, your kindness touched our hearts, and your memory will remain a permanent part of our family story.

Today, we mourn you with heavy hearts, but we also celebrate the beautiful life you lived, the people you touched and the enduring legacy of love, strength and compassion you leave behind.

Rest peacefully, Dr. Margret Yorhomeh.

May Almighty God grant you eternal rest and grant all of us you have left behind the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear this great loss.

You will be remembered.
You will be honoured.
And you will never be forgotten.
