The Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ona-Ara Constituency, Hon. Ismaeel Sodiq Opeyemi Elege, has extended warm congratulations to Alawode Rahmon Akintunde on his emergence and installation as the new Mogaji of Ile Ifatayo-Alawode.

In a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, Hon. Elege described the installation as a significant milestone for the Alawode family and the entire Ona-Ara Local Government Area, noting that traditional institutions remain vital pillars of community development and social harmony.

According to him, the emergence of Mogaji Alawode Rahmon Akintunde represents a new chapter of unity, progress, and cultural preservation for the family and the larger community.

"Your elevation to this revered traditional position reflects your exemplary character, leadership qualities, and the confidence reposed in you by your family and community. This is not only a personal achievement but also a call to greater service and responsibility," Elege stated.

The ADP chieftain emphasized that the institution of Mogaji continues to play a crucial role in promoting peace, resolving disputes, preserving Yoruba cultural values, and fostering grassroots development.

He further expressed confidence that the new Mogaji would provide purposeful leadership capable of strengthening family bonds, promoting communal growth, and inspiring younger generations to uphold the values of integrity and service.

Hon. Elege also used the occasion to advocate stronger collaboration between traditional rulers, family heads, and elected public officials, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved through collective efforts and inclusive governance.

"The partnership between traditional institutions and political leadership is essential for addressing the needs of our people. Together, we can promote policies and initiatives that improve the welfare, security, and economic opportunities available to our communities," he added.

Praying for a successful and impactful reign, Elege urged the new Mogaji to remain steadfast in promoting peace, unity, and development within Ile Ifatayo-Alawode and beyond.

"May Almighty Allah grant you divine wisdom, strength, and guidance as you embark on this noble responsibility. May your reign usher in greater harmony, prosperity, and progress for the family and the entire Ona-Ara community. Ile yi a toro, a o ma toro l'ase Edumare."

The installation of Mogaji Alawode Rahmon Akintunde comes at a time when stakeholders across Ona-Ara are advocating for greater community participation, cultural renaissance, and grassroots-driven development initiatives.
