BREAKING: OYO ADC SUSPENDS ONA-ARA, IDO LGA CHAIRMEN INDEFINITELY, APPOINTS ACTING REPLACEMENTS

The Oyo State Chapter of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced the indefinite suspension of Hon. Olusesan Obisesan, Chairman of the party in Ona-Ara Local Government Area, and Hon. Abideen Ibikunle, Chairman in Ido Local Government Area, with immediate effect.

The development was contained in an official notice signed by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Bimpe Adelowo, Esq.

As part of measures to ensure continuity in party administration and maintain organisational stability, the party announced the appointment of acting chairmen for the two affected local government areas.

Under the new arrangement, Hon. Oladimeji Abel Olatunde has been appointed Acting Chairman of ADC in Ona-Ara Local Government Area, while Hon. Iskilu Olowoyo will serve as Acting Chairman in Ido Local Government Area.

According to the notice, the appointments take immediate effect and will remain in place pending further directives from the appropriate party authority.

The party also called on members, ward executives, stakeholders and other relevant party organs in the affected local government areas to cooperate with the acting chairmen to ensure the smooth running of party affairs.

The notice reaffirmed that the suspensions and appointments take immediate effect and will remain binding pending subsequent communication or directives from the appropriate party authority.
