2027: Hon.Ogundeji Taiwo Ademola Declares for Egbeda–Ona Ara Federal Constituency on ADP Platform
The political landscape in Egbeda and Ona Ara is set for heightened activity as Hon. Ogundeji Taiwo Ademola formally declares his intention to contest the Egbeda–Ona Ara Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The declaration comes alongside the emergence of the party's candidates for the respective State House of Assembly constituencies, creating a broader political team seeking representation at both the state and federal levels.
Representing Egbeda State Constituency, Engr. Hon. Akinwale Olusayo Michael is presented as the ADP candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly, while Hon. Ismaeel Opeyemi Elege is the party's candidate for Ona Ara State Constituency.
Together, the candidates are presenting a message centred on their stated commitment to representation, community development and responsive governance across the two constituencies.
EGBEDA–ONA ARA: VISION TO REALITY
At the centre of the campaign is the message “Egbeda–Ona Ara Vision to Reality,” reflecting the candidates' stated aspiration to transform developmental expectations within their respective constituencies into practical initiatives.
Hon. Ogundeji Taiwo Ademola, as the federal constituency candidate, is expected to focus his campaign on issues affecting the wider Egbeda–Ona Ara Federal Constituency, including infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, employment opportunities, community development and effective representation at the National Assembly.
At the state level, Engr. Hon. Akinwale Olusayo Michael is set to take his campaign to residents of Egbeda State Constituency, while Hon. Ismaeel Opeyemi Elege will seek the support of voters across Ona Ara State Constituency.
The alignment of the three candidates provides the ADP with a coordinated political structure covering the federal constituency and the two corresponding State House of Assembly constituencies.
