OYO 2027: WARD 1 BACKS ELEGE, AS VISIONARY TEAM DISTRIBUTES PALLIATIVES, MOBILISES FOR ADP VICTORY IN ONA ARA

The show of support was witnessed during the weekly general meeting of Team ELEGE, held at the Islamic Mission Basic School, Akanran, where a large gathering of party supporters, ward executives and grassroots stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to the political movement.

Hon. ELEGE was represented at the meeting by the Director-General of the Visionary Team, Aderemi Dolapo Emmanuel, popularly known as Goodnews, alongside other leaders and stakeholders of the movement.

Addressing the gathering, Emmanuel expressed satisfaction with the impressive turnout and conveyed Hon. ELEGE’s commitment to pursuing a people-oriented legislative agenda focused on education, youth empowerment, infrastructure development and inclusive representation if elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly in 2027.

As part of efforts to appreciate members for their loyalty and continued support, the ELEGE campaign team also distributed edible palliatives to attendees, describing the gesture as a means of encouraging grassroots participation and strengthening the bond between the movement and the people.

Speaking during the meeting, leaders of the Visionary Team urged members to remain united, committed and optimistic as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.

Among those who addressed the gathering were Comrade Adegbola Samuel Timilehin IMMACULATE, Comrade Akanbi Abiola Bisco, Coordinator, and Hon. Afolabi Sogo Afoo. 

They highlighted what they described as Hon. ELEGE’s capacity, integrity and people-oriented approach, while calling on Ward 1 executives and supporters to intensify grassroots mobilisation, voter registration awareness and community sensitisation.

The speakers further described Ward 1 as a strategic political base for the ADP in Ona Ara and urged members to work collectively towards securing a strong electoral showing for the party and its candidates in 2027.

The meeting culminated in a vote of confidence and endorsement of Hon. ELEGE, with supporters pledging their commitment to mobilising voters and delivering Ward 1 for the ADP in the forthcoming election.

The gathering ended on a note of renewed political enthusiasm and solidarity, with members reaffirming their belief that “ELEGE represents the future of purposeful representation for Ona Ara Constituency.”
