Oyo 2027: Kunle Olatunji (KTJ) Uses New Month Message to Rally Support for a New Political Direction
APD Gubernatorial Candidate, Kunle Olatunji KTJ, Sends Strong New Month Message, Reaffirms Commitment to Change in Power
As the month of September begins, the APD gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Kunle Olatunji KTJ, has called on the people of the state to embrace a new spirit of hope, unity and determination towards building a better future for all.
In his New Month message, KTJ described September as an opportunity for the people of Oyo State to reflect on the kind of leadership they desire and the future they want to create for themselves, their families and generations yet unborn.
He stressed that his gubernatorial ambition is anchored on the conviction that Oyo State needs a fresh political direction, purposeful leadership and a government that places the interests of the people above personal or political considerations.
A CALL FOR CHANGE IN POWER
KTJ maintained that the desire for change is not merely about changing individuals in government, but about changing the approach, attitude and structure of governance.
He expressed his determination to champion a government that will strengthen human capital development, support young people, empower entrepreneurs, improve social infrastructure, promote economic opportunities and ensure that communities across Oyo State receive meaningful attention.
According to KTJ, the people must remain at the centre of every government policy and decision.
BUILDING THE ATMOSPHERE FOR A NEW OYO
The campaign is expected to continue strengthening its grassroots engagement by taking the message of change, accountability, inclusion and people-centred governance directly to communities across the state.
From the urban centres of Ibadan to communities across the zones of Oyo State, KTJ’s message is focused on building a political atmosphere where citizens can participate, ask questions, express their expectations and contribute to the development of the state.
The campaign's engagement strategy will continue to emphasise:
• Grassroots mobilisation — connecting directly with residents and community stakeholders.
• Youth engagement — creating stronger conversations around employment, entrepreneurship, technology, education and leadership opportunities.
• Women empowerment — promoting policies capable of improving economic participation and household welfare.
• Community development — advocating equitable attention to infrastructure and essential services.
• Accountability and transparency — strengthening citizens’ participation in governance.
• Economic development — promoting an environment where businesses, entrepreneurs and investors can thrive.
THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR
KTJ is positioning his ambition as a call for Oyo people to look beyond political slogans and demand competent, responsible and people-oriented leadership.
As the new month unfolds, the campaign is urging supporters and citizens who share the vision of a better Oyo to remain engaged, organised and committed to peaceful democratic participation.
In his concluding message, KTJ wished the people of Oyo State a Happy New Month, expressing optimism that the months ahead can bring renewed hope and a stronger sense of collective purpose.
“A new month brings new hope. A new chapter requires new ideas. Oyo State deserves leadership that listens, serves and delivers.
Oyo for KTJ”
SEPTEMBER MESSAGE FROM KTJ
New Month. New Hope. New Direction.
A New Oyo Is Possible.
The Time for Responsible Change Is Now.
Signed
Kunle Olatunji KTJ
