OYO 2027:A NEW DAWN OF HOPE FOR OYO STATE

DR. GBEMILEKE ALAGBE: A NEW VISION FOR A BETTER OYO

The official uploading and confirmation of Dr. Gbemileke Alagbe as the Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Oyo State marks a significant moment in the journey toward a new chapter for the people of Oyo State.

This is more than the emergence of a candidate. It is the emergence of hope, renewed confidence and a vision for purposeful leadership.

At a time when the people are yearning for leadership that listens, understands their realities and places the interest of the people above personal interests, the candidacy of Dr. Gbemileke Alagbe represents a compelling opportunity for a fresh direction.

His emergence comes with a message of competence, integrity, accountability, inclusiveness and people-centred governance—values that can help build an Oyo State where every citizen has a sense of belonging and every community has a voice.

A LEADERSHIP FOR THE PEOPLE

The journey ahead is about building an Oyo State where:

🔹 Good governance is driven by competence and accountability.

🔹 Young people are empowered with meaningful opportunities.

🔹 Women are given stronger platforms to contribute to development.

🔹 Education, healthcare and human capital development receive deserved attention.

🔹 Agriculture, technology, entrepreneurship and industry become stronger engines of economic growth.

🔹 Infrastructure and basic amenities reach communities across the state.

🔹 Government remains accessible, responsive and accountable to the people.

🔹 Every citizen, regardless of background or location, has the opportunity to thrive.

The task before us is therefore bigger than politics. It is about the future of Oyo State.

It is about choosing a direction that inspires confidence, restores hope and puts the people at the centre of governance.

THE JOURNEY TO ARISE AND SHINE

The journey may be challenging, but with unity of purpose, courage and commitment, a better Oyo is possible.

Let us move forward with hope.

Let us move forward with purpose.
