JUBRIL DOTUN SANUSI CELEBRATES OBA AJIBOLA AT 82, HONOURS A LEGACY OF WISDOM, SERVICE AND DIVINE GRACE
Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Oba Ajibola, on the occasion of the monarch’s 82nd birthday, describing the milestone as a remarkable testimony to God’s enduring grace, wisdom, service and divine preservation.
In a heartfelt birthday message, Chief Sanusi described the celebrant as not only an illustrious Kabiyesi and respected traditional ruler, but also an exceptional father figure whose wisdom, kindness, guidance and prayers have continued to leave a lasting impact on his life and on many others.
According to him, attaining the age of 82 is far beyond a numerical milestone, as it represents decades of sacrifice, leadership, perseverance, service to humanity and unwavering divine preservation.
“Over eight decades is more than an age. It is a remarkable journey of sacrifice, leadership, service, perseverance and divine preservation.
“You have witnessed generations come and go, yet you remain a source of wisdom, strength and inspiration to those around you.”
Sanusi fondly acknowledged the fatherly affection, counsel and guidance he has received from the monarch, describing his words as a source of encouragement, his counsel as a lamp in moments of uncertainty, and his prayers as a priceless covering.
He noted that Oba Ajibola’s life and leadership continue to demonstrate the importance of wisdom, humility, compassion and service, adding that his influence extends beyond the palace to family, community and society at large.
Chief Sanusi prayed that Almighty God would continue to reward the monarch for the lives he has touched, the sacrifices he has made and the prayers he has offered for others throughout his remarkable journey.
He also prayed for continued good health, peace, abundant joy and fulfilment for the monarch, particularly the privilege of witnessing his children, grandchildren and generations yet unborn flourish in life.
Sanusi said:
“May your crown continue to shine. May your wisdom continue to guide generations. May your home remain a sanctuary of love and blessings.
“Kabiyesi, we are grateful that God chose to preserve you for us.”
Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi further wished the monarch many more glorious and fulfilling years, celebrating his enduring contributions to family, traditional leadership and society.
He prayed that the years ahead would bring the monarch greater peace, renewed strength, sound health and countless reasons to celebrate.
