Gbogbolomo Olufunmilola Maryam Adewale (GOMA) Withdraws from Oyo Central Senatorial Race to Take Up National Assignment

I, Gbogbolomo Olufunmilola Maryam Adewale (GOMA), hereby announce my withdrawal from the Oyo Central Senatorial race under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This decision was not made lightly. After extensive consultations with party leadership, stakeholders, community leaders, and my supporters across Oyo Central, I have been called to undertake a National Assignment that requires my full attention and commitment at this time.

My commitment to the people of Oyo Central and to the ideals of the ADC remains unwavering. I believe that serving at the national level will position me to deliver broader impact, attract development, and advocate more effectively for the interests of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the ADC family in Oyo Central, party executives at all levels, and the thousands of supporters who have stood with me since day one. Your trust, energy, and belief in this movement have been my greatest motivation.

I urge all our supporters to remain calm, united, and focused on the larger goal of building a stronger ADC and a better Nigeria. The work continues, just on a different platform.

I remain committed to the progress of Oyo Central and will continue to support credible leadership that puts the people first.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Signed,
Gbogbolomo Olufunmilola Maryam Adewale Esq. (GOMA)
Former Aspirant, ADC Oyo Central Senatorial District
