ADC OLUYOLE MANDATE: HON.DOAF SECURES STRONG GRASSROOTS BACKING AS LG LEADERS, STAKEHOLDERS RALLY BEHIND HIS 2027 ASSEMBLY BID

The political atmosphere within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oluyole Local Government, continues to witness renewed energy, stronger coordination and growing grassroots mobilisation as Honourable Dolapo Adelana (DOAF) joined party leaders and stakeholders at a strategic Local Government meeting.

The meeting served as an important platform for engagement, consultation and mobilisation, bringing together key members of the ADC family to deliberate on the future of the party, the strength of its grassroots structure and the collective responsibility of stakeholders in advancing the DOAF mandate ahead of the 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly election.

Representing the growing strength of the ADC structure in Oluyole, the Local Government leadership led by Honourable Kayode Adeyemo, Lt. Col. (Rtd.), Chairman, and Comrade Adewumi Damilare, Local Government Secretary, reaffirmed their readiness to work collectively with Honourable Dolapo Adelana and other stakeholders towards building a stronger and more effective political movement across the constituency.

A MEETING BUILT ON UNITY AND PURPOSE
The gathering was not merely another political meeting; it was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas and further align the party structure around a common objective.

The discussions centred on the importance of unity, grassroots engagement, effective communication, strategic mobilisation and maintaining a strong connection between the party and the people.

For the ADC Oluyole Mandate, the strength of any political project must begin from the grassroots. This means listening to the people, understanding their aspirations and ensuring that their voices remain central to the political process.

The meeting therefore reinforced the determination of stakeholders to build a structure that is people-focused, organised, inclusive and ready for the challenges ahead.

DOAF: A COMMITMENT TO SERVICE
Honourable Dolapo Adelana (DOAF) continues to position his aspiration around the fundamental principle of service to humanity and responsible representation.

His engagement with the ADC Local Government leadership further demonstrated the importance he attaches to consultation, collaboration and grassroots participation.

The DOAF vision is anchored on the belief that political representation should go beyond occupying an office. It should be about being accessible to the people, understanding their needs, championing their interests and working tirelessly to attract meaningful development to the constituency.

With this vision, DOAF is seeking to present himself as a representative who will carry the aspirations of the people to the Oyo State House of Assembly with courage, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.

GRASSROOTS STRUCTURE: THE FOUNDATION OF THE MANDATE
The renewed engagement between DOAF and the ADC Oluyole Local Government structure further demonstrates that the journey towards 2027 requires collective effort.

From the Local Government level to the wards and communities, the mandate is being strengthened through engagement, consultation and mobilisation.

The party leadership has expressed its willingness to continue working within the established structure, supporting constructive political engagement and ensuring that members remain united around the broader objective of achieving effective representation for Oluyole Constituency.

The message from the meeting is therefore one of unity, readiness and determination.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR REPRESENTATION

As 2027 approaches, the conversation is increasingly moving towards the kind of representation the people of Oluyole Constituency desire.

The DOAF project seeks to make that conversation about quality representation, accountability, accessibility, development and service to the people.

The meeting with ADC Oluyole Local Government stakeholders represents another step in that direction—a step built on dialogue, mutual understanding and a shared commitment to the people.

With the support of party leaders, ward structures, grassroots stakeholders, supporters and well-meaning citizens, the DOAF movement continues to build momentum while strengthening its foundation across the constituency.

THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR
The ADC Oluyole Mandate is not about one individual alone. It is about building a collective platform through which the aspirations of the people can be properly represented.

It is about bringing together committed stakeholders who believe that Oluyole deserves purposeful, responsive and people-centred representation.

It is about preparing a team that is organised, united and ready to take the message of service to every ward, community and household.
