The campaign for the election of Chief Engr. Funmi Obisesan as the next Honourable Member representing Ona-Ara Constituency received a significant boost following her presentation of her Certificate of Nomination to the Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, JDS.

The presentation was part of efforts by the APC candidate to seek the blessings, guidance and support of respected traditional and community leaders as she continues her campaign ahead of the forthcoming election.

Engr. Obisesan was warmly received by Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi, a prominent Ibadan businessman, philanthropist and founder of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, during the visit.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanusi expressed appreciation for Obisesan's humility, commitment to public service and contributions to the development of Ona-Ara Local Government.

He also expressed his support for her aspiration to represent the constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, describing her political ambition as one deserving the attention and encouragement of stakeholders across Ona-Ara and Ibadanland.

The engagement further highlighted the growing momentum behind Obisesan's campaign, with supporters describing her as a candidate whose experience, accessibility and grassroots engagement could provide effective representation for the people of Ona-Ara.

The Obisesan Campaign Organisation reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful, issue-based and people-oriented campaign, while calling on residents of Ona-Ara to support the APC candidate in the forthcoming election.

With the campaign slogan, “Vote Engr. Funmi Obisesan, Vote APC, Vote Yeye Erelu of Akanran Land,” the organisation urged constituents to rally behind her candidacy and entrust her with the mandate to represent their interests at the Oyo State House of Assembly.
