2027: Kwara governor endorses Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki as his preferred successor
Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has endorsed a popular businessman, philanthropist and politician, Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki, as his preferred successor in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
impressive capacity to build on the achievements of his administration over the last seven years for the good of the state.
The governor’s endorsement of Mr Seriki comes amid intensified political permutations by aspirants ahead of the APC governorship primary election scheduled for Thursday.
About 16 aspirants are jostling for the APC governorship ticket in the state, with each reportedly paying N50 million for nomination forms.
